When we pick-up your furniture, it will be transported to our store in Carmichael and individually cardboard wrapped or crated. If wrapped in cardboard, the item will also be shrink-wrapped and steel-banded onto a pallet. For heavier and/or more expensive items, we recommend wooden crates instead of cardboard. These crates are custom built for each particular item to be shipped. All cardboard boxes must be sealed and will then be shrink-wrapped and palletized for shipping.
The freight carrier will pick up the items at our facility. They will be transported via truck to the destination. This will take approximately 1-2 weeks. All shipments will have to be prepaid. The pick-up fee can be waived if you can transport the goods to our store yourself and the residential delivery fee at the destination can be waived if the items are shipped to a commercial address. Insurance coverage included with the shipment is $0.10 per pound. Additional insurance may be purchased at $5 per $100 declared value.

Your items will be shrink-wrapped onto pallets and steel-banded at our facility. The pallets will then be transported via truck to the port of Oakland and loaded onto the container vessel bound for Hawaii. The transport takes about 2 to 3 weeks for delivery. The item then may be picked up at the dock in Hawaii.
If the shipment is not picked up within 2 to 3 days upon arrival, storage fees will be charged by the shipping company.
Insurance coverage is $0.10 per lb. Additional insurance may be purchased at $5 per $100 of declared value.

Rates are port to port only. Will Call and Documentation Fees depend on value and location but start at $150. Insurance cost is the first $500 value for free with an additional coverage charge of $5 per $100 dollars of placed value.
